
Solomon Berkovitz
Supervisor and Senior Therapist
Solomon Berkovitz has been affiliated with Pesach Tikvah since 1998 and officially
joined our staff in 2004. An integral part of the clinical leadership team, he was the
Clinical Coordinator & Director of Admission and Discharges at Pesach Tikvah's Adult
Community Residences for people with psychiatric disabilities. He currently supervises
clinicians and provides therapy to adults, children, and families in the 926 Family Center
and the 5309 Family Center, specializing in extreme cases and communication skills. A
resident of Borough Park, Mr. Berkovitz speaks fluent Yiddish and English and has
been a tremendous therapeutic asset to the Chassidishe community. He has led many
workshops and classes for the community on improving family life and dealing with
individual challenges. He is one of Brooklyn's most well-known practitioners of a wide
range of therapeutic approaches, including improving communication skills, family and
parenting therapy, eating disorders therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, in
Yiddish. He is a graduate of Touro University and has a Master of Social Work degree
from Yeshiva University's Wurzweiler School of Social Work.
