Developmental Disability Services

Administered under New York State's Office for People with Developmental Disabilities, we proudly offer a suite of services for children and adults with developmental disabilities.

The Devorah Teitelbaum Women’s Residence

Pesach Tikvah's 14-bed women's facility in Williamsburg provides 24-7 supported living for clients with moderate to acute developmental disabilities. In addition to care and support, the full-time staff provide enriching programs and fulfilling activities.

• Pre-Post Summer Camp
Located at home and on-site in our Boro Park location, the Respite program offers an array of programs where special needs children can develop their skills and talents. These centers provide crucial respite for parents after school, on Sundays and legal holidays, and in the weeks between school and camp.

The Camp Beis Chana program helps families with special needs children to enroll their children in local camps through sponsorships and administrative help. The Camp Beis Chana program is in memory of Chana Lifshitz, the daughter of Melly and Rochelle Lifshitz.

Community Habilitation

The Community Habilitation Program is designed to help individuals with developmental disabilities acquire and maintain the skills needed to live more independently in their communities. Community Habilitation focuses on improving the individual's daily living skills, social skills, communication skills, health and safety, as well as to provide recreation and leisure activities. This program is offered for children and adults.
